Album Notes

Through unpredictable chord progressions, catchy melodies and intelligent lyrics, Nicole Kristal brings rock-n-roll immediacy and pop snappiness to the singer-songwriter tradition. A skilled rhythm guitarist of 13 years, the San Francisco native conveys a staggering range of emotion and ability through an organic, acoustic sound. By blending eerie melodies with driving rhythms, Nicole conveys a sense of unapologetic emotion that permeates her music.

Nicole's impressive debut EP "Radiate," produced by Johnny Indovina, frontman for the legendary underground goth band Human Drama, received positive reviews from journalist Mike Szymanski of Tribune Media and Andy Godfrey of Chrysalis Records in London. Say It Records included her album's title track, "Radiate," on its Indie By Design compilation. Nicole's music is currently receiving airplay on Whole Wheat Radio.

Nicole has played clubs around Los Angeles at established venues for the past two years, including the world-famous McCabe's guitar shop, The Mint, Genghis Cohen and 14 Below. The singer-songwriter plans to release a second EP and to tour the West Coast later this year.
