Album Notes

Tim Nielsen is a prolific composer. He is a seasoned veteran guitarist with a very unique style synthesizing the many influences of guitarists that have come before him. You can hear subltle reflections in his playing from Jimi Hendrix, Pat Metheny, Eric Clapton, to Earl Klugh and Chet Atkins and Carlos Santana. Tim's music is of a spiritual nature as he draws upon life experiences for his subject matter. The recently released CD "109 E. McKey St." is a collection of dreamy instrumental renderings of his life at home with his family and friends. He is an excellent versatile guitarist, but never lets his virtuosity overshadow his thoughtful compositions. The songs are everything, the guitar accentuates them. The production is great. Thirty seconds after you begin to play "109 E. McKey St." you can feel your blood pressure lower and you enter a state of relaxation you can only find at "home." Tim has also released two other CD's available on CDBABY entitled "Light Years", and "Brutha Niel." Both contain all original songs that showcase his singing, writing, and guitar playing.
