Tim Nielsen is a veteran performer/writer. INDIGENOUS is his latest and best work to date. He is a native southerner and this CD reflects musical and cultural influences that exist in the southeastern United States. The CD song topics also mirror a southern culture that unfortunately is waning as the United States becomes more homogenized. Fortune and fame are not the ultimate goals for Tim. He performs and records solely for the art of trying to express himself through his music and lyrics. He continues to develop this craft. He is an extraordinary guitarist and that instrument is tastefully represented on this CD.
