Tim Nielsen is a prolific songwriter. \"Ghosts\", his latest work, is a group of songs that work together to tell stories about things that have happened to people in the past. The setting of all songs is in the South, where Tim has lived his entire life. The songs are about lost loves, dutiful sons, torn down landmarks, freight trains, mysterious lovers, rusty cars, and the ever present change brought on by the relentless development of Tim\'s homeland. Although the musical performance is excellent, more emphasis was put on the lyrical content of these songs, attempting to keep production to a minimum. The goal was to have it sound like musicians playing for the love of the music and for self expression, not to win an \"American Idol\" contest.
