Album Notes

The Nielsen-Goodman Project

Debuts at #6 and ranked in the Top 10 of New Age Reporter's Top 100 Chart for three months!

"Tap Dance on a Cloud" is an uplifting collection of ten original compositions that refresh the soul, engage the mind and provoke a new level of awareness. This emotionally powerful instrumental music combines the masterful skills of David Nielsen on amplified classical guitar with the innovative percussive harmonic technique of Garry Goodman on the world's first 7 and 11-string bass guitars.

The Nielsen-Goodman Project showcases virtuoso live performances with no bass or guitar overdubs and unique playing techniques that create the illusion that four guitarists are playing, not two.
David and Garry then blend in percussion performed by Ivan Krillzarin
and Alex Acuña to create a canvas for this unique sound that is the result of diverse musical influences ranging from jazz and new age to classical and world beat music.

You can hear some of David Nielsen's exceptional guitar playing and solos on these samples.Due to the 2 minute sample duration on CD Baby, you'll only be able hear the solo Percussive Harmonic 7-string bass intro on "Can I Keep This Dream" here. REVIEWS

Stunning instrumental abilities and fresh innovative compositions

I play it in my car. I play it in my house. I like this. It sounds like this incredibly talented guitarist has 20 fingers! The Nielsen Goodman Project has put out a very enjoyable CD that is surprisingly liked by people that don't usually go for this genre of music, (i.e., my kids, friends and others I have played this for). That says alot. David Nielsen, the guitar player is probably the best at his craft that I've heard in well over 20 years of my 30 plus year radio career. The bass player, Garry Goodman has a very unique style and complements Mr. Nielsen very well. It is interesting to hear the multistringed basses that he is playing. I certainly recommend that everyone purchase this CD for themselves or for gifts. It's great, can't wait for more!
