Hailed as \"One of the Top 25 Bands on Myspace\" by Rolling Stone Magazine, Night Driving in Small Towns has quickly enjoyed a growing fanbase.
NDIST is five members from five different small towns in Georgia. Combined, they are one band with eclectic tastes and enormous reach.
Andrea Rogers and Colby Wright have been making music together since 2001. Their music has grown like a phantom limb, with its exploratory fingers reaching out to grasp many musical forms, including pop, new wave, and acoustic bluegrass-inspired folk. Colby was initially in charge of all the instrumentation (except for the random, incoherent piano playing Andrea attempted from time to time).
The twosome added and removed several band members in their various incarnations. From 2004-2005, they performed under the name \"sleepy still.\" During this time, they played original, alternative-inspired tunes and released an original album, \"In Terms of Electricity,\" and an extended EP, \"No More Bad News.\" From 2005-2006, they performed as \"The Stennis Way,\" garnering attention with a live show that showcased original music in the vein of powerpop and new wave. The band also released an album, entitled \"Sink or Swim.\"
In 2006, the twosome simultaneously realized they were finished stretching their musical legs and decided to run back in the direction of their hearts and roots. It was then that Night Driving in Small Towns was born.
2006 brought three worthwhile additions to the band: Sage Cady (bassist), Daniel Gonzalez (guitars), and Tyler Shores (drums, harmonica). Fully formed, Night Driving in Small Towns (or Night Driving, as some fans call it for short) began playing shows around Georgia in 2006.
Shortly thereafter, they were named one of Rolling Stone\'s Top 25 Bands on Myspace.
On July 6th, 2007, Night Driving in Small Towns released their first album, \"By the Roadside.\" They have been featured and received positive reviews at indie-music.com and several other online music communities. The band is featured at several websites, including but not limited to: indie-music.com, indie911, YouTube, cybergrass.com, ReverbNation, MusicNation, and Zvents. Their songs have been played on American and Canadian radio, and have also served as scores for independent filmmakers.

Another good one.

I bought this album along with "By the Roadside". It, as the other, is a great CD. I recommend it to anyone who likes soft folk music; or anyone who enjoys hearing a beautiful female voice. Good lyrics as well.
