Nightweed's music -- influenced by punk, classic, and hard rock -- is heavily guitar driven and covers many different moods.
Keith's songs reflect the frustrations and anxiety of modern living, but with a hopeful outlook nonetheless. Alicia, aka Angry Girl and the band's main drummer, snarls out her two songs with a satisfying venom.
Rick is responsible for the juicy riffs that rock you through Nightweed's songs. He also performs a melancholy guitar solo in Rain that is sure to send chills down your spine.
As can be witnessed by Keith's keyboard solo at the end of Ashes on My Brain, Nightweed is also a jam band, but we only play our jams live and we encourage people to record and share them. We love playing private parties and can usually be persuaded to squeeze them into our schedule!
We are currently working on our next CD, which will have a harder edge overall and more songs for Angry Girl!

Loved the CD

Fire In Your Eyes and Ashes On My Brain are my favorite on this CD. Nightweed's voices are fantastic, the music is superb, and the lyrics wildly good.

Great CD!

This CD, Nightweed, is one of the most wonderful, intertaining, CD's I've ever heard, I love it, I can listen to it for hours and hours on end without getting bored of it or having to turn it off cause I've heard it for too long. This CD is something you can turn up really loud and never think it's too loud or doesn't sound right. It has the perfect sound... It rocks! I'm glad I got my CD!
