Album Notes

Nightwolf comes from Fresno California . Members Ernesto Cordero, Anthony Valenzuela, Mike Diaz, and Ruben Gaitan, deliver a powerful album, rich with searing guitars, and beautiful melodies.

Ernesto and Anthony trade off on lead vocals to give this album even more depth. Whether you are listening to the sexy "Just For You" (track1), the jazzy "Same Old Feeling" (track 4), the powerful rock song "Fires From The Sky" (track 6), the spanish gypsy tune of "The Flame" (track 11), or the beefed up blues rock finale "Cry" (track 12), it is all undeniably Nightwolf.

Versatility is Nightwolf's trademark. If you like any type of music with blazing guitars, melodic ballads, and songs that say something, then you should check this band out!

Just For You

This is easily the best musical investment I've made in a couple of months. This tight little foursome are a wonderful mixture of power, style and rhythm, covering the gamut from grit to tenderness, all with an almost subliminal (in places) latin flavor. These guys play extremely well together, obviously comfortable with their own and each others technical abilities. I was surprised to find, unlike many bluses artists, the whole album is original material written by members of the band. Like the best blues has always been, these songs are simple, well-crafted explorations of heartfelt emotions that engage the listener. In many, Valenzuela's guitar has just the right mournful wail to underline and compliment the sorrow of the lyrics. I love these guys and will get more of their music.
