This project evolved from a short story I wrote several years ago about how we perceive diversity in all things around us. Seen from the perspective of one of the three young elementary school kids, Barbara featured in the story. You’ll also discover that Barbara has a special connection with the stage lights also prominently featured in Friends in High Places. This story is read by Ms. Sara Wells, a California native, who has been singing and performing since before she could walk. In her real-life job as an actress, favorite roles include Cherie in Bus Stop, May in Fool For Love, The world premiere of Marilyn in Norma Jean and Johnny, and Cinderella in Into The Woods. TV and film credits include Nip/Tuck and Californication as well as numerous national and regional commercials. Sara is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
