new horizons
nikchamberlain has written, arranged, produced, and performed all the material on his hot new release, "most talented best looking". drawing from the influences of such music luminaries as Prince, Radiohead, Gnarles Barkely, Massive Attack, Sly and the Family Stone, the release of "most talented best looking" will establish nikchamberlain as one of the most creative and musical visionaries of our time.


2003-2008

origins
nikchamberlain was born in baltimore, maryland, home of edgar allen poe. his early recordings with the band chamberlain bleu reflected a dark, brooding, reflective, melancholy experience. a sound that mr. poe would certainly have approved of.


fate with a chanteuse
as fate would have it, nikchamberlain would meet norah jones whilst she was performing with the nyc band wax poetic. the future multi grammy winner would soon be in the studio recording backup vocals with chamberlain bleu.


changes
departures and turmoil would surround chamberlain bleu as it performed at numerous nyc venues, when finally in the winter of 2003, nikchamberlain decided to shelve the project and to concentrate on writing and recording new material.


supernova
having written all the material being performed by chamberlain bleu, re-direction would prove to be a seamless transition for the talented singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist. in addition to possessing a remarkeable ear and an impressive vocal range, nik chamberlain plays bass, electric guitar, and keys.


rebirth
the selection process for material on his next project would begin immediately. continuing to write and record new material, nikchamberlain also began reviewing his back catalogue of over 100 songs.


journey
on his solo debut, "stormy weather", nikchamberlain has written, arranged, co-arranged, produced, co-produced, performed and co-performed all the material. reminiscent of prince, sade, seal, and sly and the family stone, nikchamberlain has created a musical soundscape not to be missed.
