ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Singer/Songwriter Nik Everett is from Wilmington DE & Philadelphia, PA and performs a very melodic and soulful brand of British pop meets American rock. His style is classic old school but still has it's feet in modern rock and pop. What separates him from others is his extraordinary voice, fine sense of melody and ability to change from genre to genre and still keep it interesting. 2004's "Summer's Gone" finds him with 13 strong songs from the heart with sharp pop songcraft. Co-produced and co-performed with the stellar talents of Scott Bricklin & Matt Muir(4 Way Street, Ben Arnold) Marc & Keith Moss (This Year's Girl, Bad Sneakers) and Pete Donnelly (Figgs, Candy Butchers) it exudes great musicianship along with the fine material.

If you like The Beatles, Neil Young, Elvis Costello, John Hiatt, Dave Edmunds, Matthew Sweet, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan for example then do yourself a favor and pick up one of the very best albums of 2004!!!!

Great Album! Every song ROCKS!
This album rocks from beginning to end. Every song is fantastic. The lyrics and music compilations are extraordinary. Highly recommended album.

Soulful, Romantic & a Rocking Surprise..It just keeps getting better...
Summer's gone just keeps getting better with every listen. From the soulful lyrics of Excellent Night and Love Is, Nik turns the tide and jumps into toe tapping, dance around the living room rock and roll (Summers Gone). An amazing find and an undeniable talent.

THE INDIE ALBUM OF 2004!!!!!
This is one of those albums that gets better with every listen, great ballads and rockers, an instant classic and one wonders why he isn't a household name. A must have.

Great Ballads & Old Time Rock 'n Roll
Great collection of songs! Ballads that will make you want to slow dance with your honey, and upbeat rock'n tunes in a great 50's / 60's style. and a bonus track you won't believe - it's been a while since I've heard this song covered that well.

Nik's very best CD yet, Great songs
Nik's latest CD is his best. He really has matured nicely as a songwriter and singer. This is a great collection of songs. Each song equally as strong as the next! Highly recommend this one, pick it up from CD Baby, right away!
