Album Notes
Nikki Renee Daniels is a versatile singer who has made her career on Broadway. She has appeared on Broadway as Clara in The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, Fantine in Les Miserables, Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes and Nehebka in Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida. Other Broadway favorites include Little Shop of Horrors, Promises, Promises, and Nine. Nikki made her New York City Opera debut as Clara in Porgy and Bess. Regionally she has starred in productions at the Guthrie, Williamstown Theatre Festival, the Denver Center, the Pasadena Playhouse, American Repertory Theater, North Shore Music Theater, Theater of the Stars, Wolf Trap, American Musical Theater of San Jose, and Sacramento Music Circus. She has also performed as a soloist with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Cincinnati Pops, the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, the New York Pops and at Carnegie Hall. On television she was featured on "Chappelle's Show". Nikki holds a BFA in Musical Theater from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music.
