Just discovered this cd and I am so feeling this artist.  I love her new cd Creolepatra and then I found out about this cd.  I had to go back and get all of this girls stuff, cause she is fanning the flames with this hot stuff.  When I heard her song NOTHING WITHOUT YOU from this cd, I was like, Oh My God, how did you know my story.  All the songs are very powerful and real.  GON\' BOUNCE is definitely another one of Nikkole\'s sic hot cutz!  Why don\'t more people know about her?  I am here to spread the word people.  Don\'t sleep on this one.

What a great record and a great artist!  Nikkole's whole album, "A Girl Like Me" is exceptional and she has definitely taken the high road on this project and this time, we must give credit where credit is due.  Nikkole has given us listeners some of the best music available today with this recording.  This ain't nothing but good ol soul music, pure and simple!  All the tracks are hot and truly exceptional.  I find myself singing along with all of the songs but, strong ballads like, "I Wish," "Amazing," "Breathe," "Waiting," "And You Love Me Too," and "I Think Of You" definitely keep me singing along.  I love the blues influenced "Nothing Without You" as well --- very, very clever lyrics girl.  When you want to get your dance groove on, Nikkole has "Baby, Baby," "A Girl Like Me," "Drive You Crazy," "Lollipop," "RSVP" and lets not forget one of the hottest songs of the year in my opinion, "Gon' Bounce!"  If "Gon' Bounce" doesn't get you on the floor, you must be dead or you should at least have your pulse checked.  She even has a rock influenced cut, "That's What Life's About" which has a great message behind it and she sings her song "Over It" in Japanese, what a talent this young lady is!  Oh...and lets not forget the hot song, "It's Too Late" featuring The Emotions ("Best Of My Love," "Boogie Wonderland," "Don't Ask My Neighbors") y'all remember them...the combination of Nikkole with The Emotions is nothing short of stellar!!!  Note to you Nikkole, your voice is definitely a gift from God.  

Before I leave, I want to say that I think if you love pop / r&b / urban or jazz and you don't have this record in your collection, you are definitely missing out on something truly brilliant!

Nikkole, I don't know if you actually read these, but if you do --- Jo Jo High wishes you nothing but the very best on the road to super-stardom!  You deserve to be well recognized for your enormous talent!  I am also so happy that your current singles, "Gon' Bounce" and "It's Too Late" featuring The Emotions have been getting so much attention at radio!

Hey Shante, Nikkole does have a new single coming out.  It is track 3 from her cd, A Girl Like Me.  I saw on myspace that it is going to be GON' BOUNCE!!!  That song is FIRE!!!  I am so glad she is releasing that song.  I also heard that there was going to be 6 mixes on the maxi-single.  I saw a picture of the cover online at prweb.  I also saw a picture of Nikkole with Paris from American Idol!  I love Nikkole...she is one of the most talented singers out there!  By the way, I also saw that the maxi single for Gon' Bounce will be out on June 6th at iTunes!
