Nina Ferro has a warm sensuous voice which along with her impeccable timing and stunning vocal range have done much to establish her enviable reputation. Her wealth of experience has seen her perform at festivals and clubs throughout the USA, Europe, Asia and Australia as well as numerous national and international TV and radio appearances.

Nina has appeared alongside such greats as Tony Bennett, Hugh Jackman, Dave Sanborn, Renee Geyer, Chris Botti, Chick Corea, Monty Alexander, Eddie Floyd, Gary U.S. Bonds, Curtis Stigers, Billie Ocean, Steve Tyrell, The Australian Pops Orchestra, The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, The Commitments, The Cat Empire and it is a reflection of the esteem to which she is held that she was a featured vocalist with the Cat Empire at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games and their sell-out shows at the 'Shepherds Bush Empire' in London. Nina is also a featured vocalist on their ARIA award winning album "Cities". Her Recordings with the Jim Cullum Jazz band featuring collaborations with Dick Hyman and guests Benny Carter, Carol Woods, Topsy Chapman and Joe Williams have been played on Radio throught the USA. Her own albums have received rave reviews worldwide.....

Now based in London, Nina is a regular performer at the World famous Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club as well a many other prestigious clubs around London. Nina now spends her time between The UK, U.S.A and Australia.

I heard Nina in London at Ronnie Scott's, and she is such a fabulous singer! Her voice tone is wonderful, and the sound is bluezzy in a classy kind of way. The CD is great. I have all of her CDs, and this website is quick and easy.

enchanting, interesting selections

I, too, have heard Nina on Jim Cullen's Live from the Landing. I would like a sound more similar to the less-produced, clean arrangements found on that program. But her voice is so lovely, clear, fluid. Will listen to this CD repeatedly and appreciate the service from CD BABY.

After hearing Nina Ferro's performance with the Jim Cullen Jazz Band on NPR's "Live From The Landing" I ordered a copy of her CD "Recollection" and it confirmed my impression that Nina's vocals are a worthy addition to a jazz tradition which concentrates on great songs and skilled performance.
