Album Notes

Ninetnine is a four-piece rock band (drums, bass guitar, acoustic and Electic - guitar, vocals) which was launched in spring 2003 by singer and bandleader Christoph Schobel. The band line-up of Ninetnine has been completed by Reto Haehnel, ( Guitar ) David Ladurner ( on Bass ) and Gabriel Meckler ( Drums ).

Sound

Thomas Schobel, an Austrian music producer, who lives in Los Angeles said about the band: “They rock your panties! Like a band from California – I love it!”

Punk, rock, alternative, acoustic,…the appeal of Ninetnine lies in their ability to remain true to their own music style while being inspired by many different influences and artists. Traces of bands like for example “Goo Goo Dolls” and “Vertical Horizon” can be heard in their songs. Ninetnine accomplish combining various music styles to their own groovy, creative and sophisticated music.

Plans/ Projects in their future

Their debut album “Feed your appetite” was released in 2004. They recorded their album in Germany, Austria and the United States and it received very good reviews.
The band has toured already in Austria, Germany and Switzerland and their reputation as an excellent live band has been firmly established.
In the summer of 2004 Ninetnine performed as a support on GOTTHARD `s “Human Zoo Tour”
And in March 2005 support on NAZARETH’s World Tour 2005.

This CD simply rocks. It's very well produced party-sound, not more or less. I'm already hungry for the 2nd strike of 9T9. Play it loud! Buy. Bye.
