Incredible! I'm new to Adam's work but already a huge fan! I had the privilege of meeting Adam last month & was introduced to his amazing talent! I'm looking forward to hearing his next release. I keep his cd in my car, home & laptop at all times. Thanks Adam for my new found love of bass jazz! It's a 'fabulous' thing!

  • Adam Nitti needs no introduction...
    author: Franny

Thanks first to CDbaby for the quick time frame from order to my door...excellent!!! Now on to Adam, truly one of the most refreshing musician/composers to hit the scene in a while. Another reviewer mentioned his axes...i've noodled (unplugged) on his Retro II and let me tell you, that bass is beyond belief, it's setup is so precise it plays itself; with Adam at the helm...LOOK OUT!!! This is my 3rd & 4th copies of Evidence...copies 1 & 2 disappeared...huh, i wonder why? ;^)

  • Good work
    author: Alex Tomàs

My favourite: Millenium - very amazing song. This type of music is very new for me, but I already feel at home when it sounds any song of this album. I like the solid structure of rithyms and of course, the lines of bass (I have been many time looking for something like this) - thank you Adam.

  • Great bassplaying / musicianship.

Adam Nitti, just discovered this virtuoso about 6 weeks ago, via myspace ... this man is incredible!! Gotta check this out! Also bought his CD Balance, ... same impression!

    author: beaboy1

To all, for me this was a great eye opener, just wish I could get a chance to see the man with my own eyes. Really have to lesson to the chemistry between the bass solo and the foundation the keys holds down, haven't heard and sound so sweet in a time...............keep it up bro's

  • Now this is real music
    author: Manuel Orozco

What can I say, except Adam Nitti and his friends are great musicains and song writers. Here in Fresno where I live, there is no diversive Jazz to speak of. I love fusion and to hear such skill and precision, well it was breath taking and moving. I can't put it down. I want to especially thank CD Baby for your quick response and care of my order. I was so surprised to receive my CDs so quickly and will recommend your store to all my friends. Thank you so much for your prompt response and I look forward to my next order. Manuel

    author: AlainT

I think everithing was told on this incredible record. In English! So I tel it in French: carrément génial! I'm wondering how many fingers Adam has..... If love fusion and bass guitar, this album is a must have (already said...)

    author: Dan Elder

If you do not have this CD, buy it! This is great stuff, This is the real deal here! Adam has put out an outstanding work here and the musicians he has assembled, Wow! You want Bass, you got it with this! Don't pass this one up!

  • OFF THE HOOK!!!
    author: Super Tanker

This CD it the SH*T! Every bass player should own this CD. If you love fusion, you should own this. If you love jazz, you should own this. If you love music you should own this. I am impressed with all the musicans, especially Dave Weckl. His druming is so straight forward. This whole CD grooves, swings and moves. I heard Adam has a CD in the works. I'm waiting with baited breath!

  • A unique review focusing on tone, instruments and technique
author: Charles Mishalany ...bass instructor and Los Angeles bassist

To bass freaks everywhere. If you've ever wanted to hear a great sounding Curbow, Mike Lull 5 and Music Man bass, side by side on the same album played by the same player, then get this CD. Both the Curbow 5 and 6 are amazing axes. Jazz tone all the way with modern snap. Super for soloing, tapping and simply one of the best sounds for slapping. A real winner. The Lull is very nice and the Music Man is in typically, wonderful form. A great comparison CD. As far as Adam's technique...oh my. Another bass hero is born. The more I listen to this CD, the more it grows on me. I'll be buying his last one next. Heard about him through the Bassics magazine give away CD.

  • WOW!!..Hits My Soul...Bass players.... Get It,
    author: Marc Ary

If it wasnt for Buying the D'Addario Bass strings with the free cd inside, i would have never heard of this great Bass player. Ive played 27 years and i will learn from his technique. Evidence is a great Jazz Fusion CD, im gonna buy his others now. Thanks!! Adam Nitti, i love it.

  • Adam has got the Spirit, tone, feel, emotion and technique. A must hear for ALL
author: Mark Vinciguerra (Vinciguerra Custom Shop Basses)

If you are a bass player (or drummer ), you will truly be inspired by Adams playing. From his seriously complex and technical lines to a late night funky thumb groove, he's got it all covered on this CD. The man is "In The Pocket".

  • This CD is the evidence
    author: Hans van Dongen

The opening of the CD is very challenging. To open your CD with an experimental piece is showing guts! I really do love it. The number Truth is not the best I think, but that's because I don't like that R&B stuff (I hate the singing actually... sorry!). My personal favorite is Puddin'. Really cooljazz. It's got everything I like in music. A great CD from a great musician and human beïng! Thanks for doing what your doing and keep on doing it!

  • Great listening, fantastic musicians
    author: Joe

One of my favorite bass musicians so I am biased. He doesn't dominate though and lets the music flow. Great listening. When it's time for him to solo, he rocks!

  • Excellent CD, Adam is amazing!!
    author: Bill

Short and sweet, if you love harmonious bass and fusion rock/jazz, you will love this CD!

  • Great As Expected
    author: Dan

Great overall. Personally, I was hopping to hear more articulate melodic lines which Adam plays alot in his gigs or when he harmonized with Victor Wooten in Vic's concert last year. But all these complains are from having too much expectations. It's an awesome album.

  • Another corker from Mr Nitti
    author: Craig Calvert

After first buying "Balance" and absolutly loving it i had to get "Evidence" .I have to say i am not dissapointed this is very much in the same vein as balance maybe slightly more in the form of fusion.I am glad i stummbled across Adam Nitti and very much look forward too his future work.....CHECK THIS GUY OUT NOW!!!

  • A Christmas Gift for a young bassist from New Jersey
    author: Laura Shouse

I have seen Adam locally for many times. He is one of the best musicians I have ever experienced. Adam is the kind of musician that is appealing to the "music lover" as well as the seasoned musician. I can't wait for the young man who is receiving this for Christmas gets to listen to it. I know it is a gift he will treasure for years to come. Thanks Adam! I hope you have a great holiday and blessed new year!

  • pick it up
    author: john kirby

kicking cd! My kind of fusion, crank up the volume to great bass playing, great songs and the little vocals that are on the cd are perfect.

  • One of the most influential Jazz/Fusion CD's to date...
    author: Aaron Santee

Adam Nitti's latest CD, Evidence, proves that a Christian musician can truely praise God without words! The compositions and musicianship are very tight, but the thing that impressed me the most is that, although the music can be technical (as most fusion usually is), it's still some of the most artistic music I've ever heard! Dave Weckl's precice and fluid drumming adds to Adam's virtuosic lines perfectly. All musicians on this CD play together beautifully. When you sit down and listen to the entire CD, the first song has as much energy and skill as the last. The CD finishes with two songs that sort of bring things down a little, sort of letting you know that the roller coaster ride is ending. My favorite composition is On Wings Like Eagles. It features Tom Knight on drums, Shane Teroit on guitars, Ike Stubblefield on hammond B-3, and Adam Nitti on 5 string bass and keys. It's a hard-driving number that toggles from 7/8 to 4/4 with ease. Another favorite is Truth which is just plain FUNKY!!! I would rate this CD along with the likes of The Return of the Brecker Bros. and Nelson Rangell's In Every Moment. It's EASILY a 5 Star CD (I would give it 50 if I could!). It's a MUST for any musician who enjoys funk, rock, fusion and soul!

  • Great CD! A must have for every bass player!
    author: Shawn Gearhart

Adam Nitti tears the bass all the way up on his CD "Evidence". Lots of great tracks to listen to for bass players and music lovers, too!

  • Fusion at it's best
author: Steve @ Two Guys Music Ri

Adam Nitti is without a doubt one of the best bass players around. Put him together with great musicians like Shane Theriot guitar Dave Weckl & Tom Knight drums and a cast of other great musicians and you can only imagine how good this CD is. Add to that a great production with massive sound. If your into fusion with world class bass playing tasty guitar solo's and killer tunes....Buy or Die. Then buy his other CD "Balance".
