New reformed Nikitov's debut recording of original songs. Nikitov was always a band to watch but you couldn't help feeling that there was more to the band than was revealed in the first two recordings. Niki Jacobs and Jason Sypher finally shed the deadweight that was holding them back creatively and set out on a new path of original songs sung in Yiddish, English and Dutch. No longer bound by any particular tradition or self-conscious limitation, they have released this album "Witness" as a testament to what they struggled against and the freedom that they won.
