Album Notes

Nkatha is a kenyan woman of destiny born and toughed for these last days. She has paid a painful price for the destiny that she has already walked into.John 1 : 6 - 12 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. Sister Nkatha is a witness to this light that shone on her face way back in her childhood. God commissioned her to testify about this light that shone so bright and illuminated her path to destiny. Not only is she a woman that testifys about the greatness of the dream that never dies, but she also speaks for the plight of the poor. Nkatha has worked with the largest non profit organizations that operate internationally to alleviate poverty and restore justice. As a humanitarian, Nkatha now heads Woman of Paradise foundation based in Newyork. She actively participates in activism and advocacy to eliminate the stigma that causes many young women around the world to undergo FGM (Female genital mutilation) Nkatha is reminded of what the bible says in the book of Esther 4: 13 - 14 Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king's house, more than all the Jews. For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? The bible says that queen Esther was not going to escape destruction because she dwelt in the palace. Nkatha believes that she is in her place of destiny for such a time as this to speak for all the women and children facing injustices. She has received support from global leaders and today, she has succesfully laid out a strategic mission and vision for her humanitarian work.Nkatha is also certified by the American association of nurses and medical professionals for the Jefferson comprehensive care to speak for the affected and infected HIV/AIDS victims among the causasians, blacks and hispanics. Nkatha gives compeling speeches that inspire people to embrace gender equity and to provide sustainable change of cultural practices that are harmful to both men and women. Nkatha believes that humanitarian efforts should focus on rebuilding the whole human being. Both psychological and physiological needs must be met for sustainable change. Nkatha's favourite quote is " It is the dream that sustains the dreamer, and gives life to the dreamer when all hope is lost " by Nkatha. Her testimony and story is one of a dream come true!
