Born and raised in Michigan, its no wonder this girl has the soul and spirit of Motown!!! A little vocal training from Bertha McNeal of Motown's "Velvelettes" didn't hurt either. Now residing in Chicago this singer, songwriter and actress is definately a bonafide triple threat on the scene!
VOCALLY- she has pipes that not only command attention with her range of power, she has a unique sound of her own.

(They all want VIP tix to the next show.) I don't know why but I usually don't like the Jill Scott types or artists like her unless their stuff is so good that it commands my attention from the first time I hear it. THAT'S WHAT THIS CD DOES TO ME. I love EVERY song - you have the best variety of sounds for the range that I like: Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop, etc. Nicole, you keep puttin em out and I'll keep buyin em! I love also how inspirational your cd is to so many of my friends. Stay strong Sister Mitchell!

author: Zulmai love to find such a mix in this CD, this cd provides songs for when your not feeling to loving of your own, for when your feeling good. i love the feel good song. I love it. this CD sets the standards for awesomely wonderful music right down from the lyrics to the sound.

If you are of age you can relate to what the songs are all about, especially, if you have been in love on a roller coaster ride if you know what I mean. It's very moving especially when you can listen to the lyrics and vision the artist transforming oneself from living for others to living for oneself.
