Melodic, harmonic astoundery abounds
author: Baggyboy
This man must have at least 6 hands with no fewer than 12 fingers on each hand! He can ping a harmonic in the middle of the most impossible phrases. Original rythmic devices overflow from this CD. Simply magical sound.
This album seems mellower than "2-5 Jive" but still retains the trademark Montgomery vibe and energy.
Enjoy!

The opening track Happy With You is inviting and open chorded while Three Shades of Black drills down to a dark but thoughtful mood, then gets funky. Groove Thing is yet another stellar cut.
