Album Notes

Nick Evans Mowery has been writing and performing his music since 1987. Performing in rock, blues, funk and bluegrass bands throughout the 90's, NEM developed an amalgamation of these genres to create his own definitive style. In 1997, to accomodate his songwriting addiction, NEM began building Tangent Boy Studio. The equipment quickly began to pile, and so did the pages of his song catalogue. From 1997-2003 NEM released (15) demo compilations that showcased his songwriting. Eight years in the making, coupled with the arrival of NEM's 30th birthday, NEM's debut release
"30 YRS GONE" was born.

NEM's songwriting style and guitar style have evolved from the study of artists such as Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Edward Van Halen and Steely Dan.

Every track was written, performed and recorded by Nick Evans Mowery at Tangent Boy Studio.
