ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
When I speak to folks after a show, I'm often asked for help in deciding which of my CD's they should take home. In describing "silence" I call it my saddest album, and the one for which I hold possibly the greatest degree of affection; it is my most intimate work, and it turned out almost exactly as I had conceived it. I played all the instruments, did all the vocals, and mixed it myself in my studio. When one of the engineers where the mastering was done heard it, he was stunned to learn it was recorded on a four track. This is a bittersweet work, a record that I love. It has been recommended by reviewers for late night listening. Come all ye who have been heartbroken.
