No Brass is a progressive hard rock band from Cleveland, Ohio playing a style of music that combines the power of a Led Zeppelin with the complexity of Rush to create a sound that is immediately accessible, while containing enough substance to allow listeners to discover something new and interesting with each spin.
The guitar work is handled by a trio of Cleveland's finest guitar players, each bringing their own highly skilled styles to the plate.
The fusionesque sounds of Jeff Beck, the twin guitar style of Boston, and even a hint of some bluesy Robin Trower blend quite nicely with drumming that draws heavy influence from Neil Peart among others.
Throw in vocals that weave in and out of a Lennon, Bowie type feel, and you have what most consider to be a more than solid debut release.
