Album Notes

"No Comment" is a small three piece band on the rise from Columbus, Ohio, which was formed originally in 2000. Comprised of three good friends; Marshall Peterson, Kevin Parks, and Zach Ballenger it was not until 2005 that the band decided to take their performances to live audiences. "No Comment" would eventually begin to gain popularity with its own personal take on the Alternative Rock scene, with songs ranging in sound with a bit of 60s flair at times to an old school grunge sound. The Band's shows have evolved over the years as well, and have recently come of age as of the 2007 show, "The Next Big Thing," showcasing independent talent from Columbus Ohio at the National venue the Newport Music Hall. These performances are so raw and exciting that they have to be experienced to be truly appreciated. Video and audio recordings do not truly show the stage presence that the band exhumes that is so intense that it draws the audience in and makes them a part of the show.

This Album "I heard it on the Radio" is a unique bend of songs that are overly Poppy, such as Roses, to songs with a strong melancholy feel, such as Disappear. While the album cannot boast being a break out new style of any kind, it does blend multiple styles such as Rock, Alternative, acoustic, and so on all on one disk. Well worth the 10 dollar asking price, if you are willing to rock!!!
