Stranger's Treehouse

This is the first Noelle Price CD I owned and it led to me becoming a Noelle Price super fan. As I noted in a review of Backlit I am a musical misogynist and the majority of the artists I like are male. I'm not really sure what sets Noelle Price apart from her female musical peers because her style is very feminine although her take on life is less frilly than the average girl folksinger. The CD starts out with a sweet song about loyalty with a melody that immediately has the listener hooked. Chucking Altoids is a 'love gone wrong' song that left me hanging on every word. I really wanted to know how the night in question played out. And Noelle Price has a refreshing honesty in her song writing, boldly admitting "Never thought I'd reach psycho-chick status..." Bottom To That Hole is a smart bluegrass answer to psychoanalysis. Ordinary Days and Blessings Flow both make me count my blessings in a very serious way. This is a must have CD for anyone who cares about the craft of writing songs. I highly recommend this CD.

I loved this c.d. The lyrics are especially meaningful and the tunes are energetic. I sing the songs when I am walking to school and smile.

Noelle has a unique sound both in her lyrics and guitar playing.

Noelle's music has evolved to embrace many styles such as bluegrass (bottom to this hole) and a spiritual aspect as well (blessings flow). Her lyrics are fun and profound at the same time. I highly reccomend seeing Noelle live.

I work with Noelle Price and I very much like her way of thnking. She has a sweet gentle way about her and that comes accross in her music. If she has another album coming out I would buy it.
