He has performed as a recitalist, chamber pianist, and orchestral musician throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia, and is a prolific recording artist. I found this site, and this CD, rather by accident looking for something else entirely. However, I was intrigued enough to order a copy. When the CD arrived, I intended to listen to it as I went about the house doing my daily chores. However, I must say that I soon found myself seated on the sofa, listening to the CD and doing nothing else. I became absolutely captivated. Mr Lester's playing is sweet - sublime - soothing - engaging - and may I say, spiritual. His beautiful Christmas CD put me right in the Christmas spirit and I have played it several times already. It is fast becoming the favorite of all my Christmas CDs. I am ever so grateful to have found this lovely, lovely recording.
