This disc spans a number of genres on the harsh end of the listening spectrum. In the absence of anything more accurate, I'll call simply use the catch all "Progressive Metal" tag. The opening cut alone is worth the price of admission--Imagine Axl Rose singing for Helmet with Flea on bass and you just start to get the picture. After that, there's pretty good variety, but a couple cuts could have been left out, namely the rap-core "Slop the Hogs" and the metallic version of the Pittsburg Steeler fight song. Just program the other 8 cuts and you're good to go.

This ROCKS! An Original heavy sound with a good groove
author: Miles Watson
Lots of great music here. Well worth the price of admission! I really like the dynamics of this group, and the violin just flat out smokes! It's like slide guitar in some ways, but just as a great unique sound to it. Slop the hogs is a great song contrary to what the other review says... if you are into limp bizkit, and others like that you will like it. Also love the mirror, and black blood.
