(About MP3 downloads at CD Baby)

A true trail blazer of free form sonic art. Brain busting and darkly seductive compound of avant rock, electronic, ambiental, industrial, ethno and jazz music. Complex and beautiful.

notes

NON FINIRe mai is the brainchild of the eclectic artist Ales Uratnik from Slovenia. This enigmatic producer, composer and guitarist has incarnated phoenix style from the seminal Yugoslavian thrash metal band Epidemic Zone (87-91).
"Pilotinstaller" is the title of his debut album. A phantasmagoric mixture of ambiental, post rock, electronic, industrial, ethno and jazz music. Imaginative and brain-busting work reverberating with fresh ideas, makes NON FINIRe mai unique and original.
This CD is featuring a remix song "What do you want me to say" from indie weirdos "The Dismemberment Plan" from their album "Emergency & I". Sofiak is featured in a documentary The Gamers, produced by Kiyash Monsef.

REVIEWS:
The sound is hard to describe because it's so unique. BANDTRAX RADIO (U.S.A.)

Well, NON FINIRe mai went over the boundaries of imagination. It's a proud work of art. BASEBOG MAGAZINE (ITALY)

The musical world needs more artists like him in order to expand into new frontiers & the outer limits of audio boundaries. ... in our opinion a brilliant and innovative piece of work. Leigh Silberg (UNITED GLOBAL ARTISTS)

"Pilotinstaller" is a very diverse album full of great songs and great moods. Highly recommended. WETWORKS ELECTROZINE (U.S.A)

On the whole it is, how to say... otherwise. It's not what I'd call drone. It's not what I'd call IDM. It's not really what I'd call electronica or techno. I don't know what to call it, really. Maybe we should just call it Slovenian, addendum that it is good and interesting, and leave it at that. SPONGE (U.S.A)
