Spawned from the depths of the urban wasteland of Los Angeles, Noodle Muffin is an underground, Alternative band known for their eclectic sound, catchy melodies, and twisted, humorous lyrics. Noodle Muffin has previously assaulted the world with two 7" EPs, a 5-song CD EP, and a full-length CD. Noodle Muffin's critically acclaimed "Teaspoons of Sin" CD was unleashed by Fyoog State Records in 1999. Their new CD "Magnum Dopus" is a fun-filled romp across the post-millennial soundscape. Both "Magnum Dopus" and "Teaspoons of Sin" contains several songs produced by renown Indie producer Kramer (Bongwater, Butthole Surfers, Shimmy Disc, etc.) During their college days, Noodle Muffin sabotaged the 1996 Presidential election by releasing the "Bob Dole" EP. Released under the pseudonym Bobdole, this 10-song, 7" single was distributed by K, and received lots of critical acclaim and airplay on such stations as KROQ ("The Kevin and Bean Show") and on the nationally syndicated "Dr. Demento Show." Noodle Muffin frequently performs around the L.A. area and tours regularly. Check out www.noodlemuffin.com for more info.

Reviews:

"Industrialized oceans of sonic splendor ... a quirky Disneyland-induced Nine Inch Nails-spawned Brady Bunch swirling thru a maze of Technicolor sound. Man, Noodle Muffin boggle my mind!" - Flipside

"Fun, fast, and catchy with hints of psychedelia here and there, Noodle Muffin churns out hook laden rock 'n' roll with airtight guitar, strong vocals, and non-obtrusive, yet original lyrics." - Eye Magazine.

"... (Noodle Muffin) creates a distinctive sound by weaving humor and social commentary into an eclectic (and outrageous) repertoire of hard driving melody-laden songs." - UCLA's Daily Bruin

"(Noodle Muffin) is completely demented and extremely funny! ... Great stage presence, fun lyrics, and their own go-go dancer all add to their fun and energetic live show." - No Cover Magazine
