Album Notes

This project spans different periods in my life and reflects my musical influences, particularly my affection for Brazilian music. As a drummer/percussionist in NYC, my work covers many different styles (Jazz, Funk, Broadway, etc.) Brazilian rhythms have consistently been the most enjoyable and satisfying to play. The CD was recorded in NYC with some of the best musicians outside of Rio (Romero Lubambo (gt), Nilson Matta (bs) and Aloisio Aguiar (pno) and in Israel with my group Zig-Zag which included the best musical talent in that country. I am very pleased to introduce my original compositions: Less One, Baiao, El Tiburon, La Keta and See 'ya. Bebe (#2) features the amazing Gabriela Anders on vocals.
