Album Notes

Musically this album represents a growth from Bob's critically acclaimed debut release, "Digging in the Live Red Coals. The musical styles vary appropriately with the stories being told. While some of the songs stay true to the acoustic folk found on the first album, others fall firmly into the realm of electric rock and blues. Still other songs have a bluegrass feel and even a little bit of South American influence as well.

This CD starts with the core of talented musicians from the first CD and adds a new dimension. The amazing acoustic guitar work of the world renowned Adam Granger, the haunting Andean flutes of Mauricio Sanchez and the sizzling electric guitar of Jerry Oliver and Leo Whitebird, and the beautiful vocals of Heather Murphy all add to the growth of Bob's music.
