This is a concept album. The Left Lane is the concept.

The Left Lane is a place that describes being separated from everyone and everything. Being in The Left Lane is usually a temporary feeling that begins when something in one's life dramatically changes. A feeling of not being a part of the crowd, that feeling of not relating to anyone or anything, of being very unique and alone.
