Album Notes

"A sequence of sonnets read by DC Shakespeare theatre's Ed Gero and enriched with the gripping, passionate, contextual music of Academy Award-winning composer, Gabriel Yared. Taking poetry into a deeper, imaginative realm, carefully landscaped with conviction and sentiment by both the strong, crafted thoughts and tugging music, this album is, from beginning to end, a dramatic, programmatic gem for contemplation and enjoyment."
--CD Baby Review

"This is an amazing collection...I have never heard anything so wonderful. Like reading a good book, the words sail through your mind from times and places eerily familiar, as if in a dream."
--Devra Ann Jacobs, Editor, Mystic Pop Magazine (Dec 2004)

REVIEWS

Outstanding!
author: Peter Smith
I was very pleased overall with CD Baby, both for providing unusual and hard to find material, and for delivering on time. For fans of spoken word performances, the Bard in particular, I would highly recommend this CD. Norman Ball does a fine job reading the material with just the right inflection to get the feeling across and not get caught locked into a rythm. Thanks CD Baby.
