Album Notes

In the proud Americana tradition, an eclectic mix of traditional country, blues and singer/songwriter ballads. Over an hour of original music with a heartfelt tribute to the incomparable Johnny Cash. Think Lyle Lovett meeting Dwight Yoakam in a seedy Memphis honky-tonk bar. Jim Croce's already slipped to the sawdust floor, passed out, while Elton John --between bulemic-fueled trips to the restroom-- asks Brian Setzer's assistance in hoisting a comatose, sequined Neil Diamond back onto his bar-stool while his ever-acerbic, wry and poignant drinking buddy, Harry Chapin flags down a cocktail waitress. Bob Dylan cancelled at the last minute because he had an appointment with God.

REVIEWS

It is rare to find when another artist can write a tribute to another great artist such as Johnny Cash. "Cash Me Out" is not only inspiring, but reassures us that all artists are not full of themselves. This CD has several great songs that will touch just about everyone's life...mine is the "Prince of Tears" I recommend this CD to All.
