Glimmer Of Hope

Solitude

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. --Mark 1:35.

The best way to hear God speak to you is a place where you can be away from all the noise, all the distractions, and all the busyness.


Peace Be With You

28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Surrender

22 Cast your cares on the LORD
and he will sustain you;
he will never let the righteous fall.

When life and circumstance start to become more than you can handle, then surrender it to God. Give Him control. He will make a way.


Forsaken

46 About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"—which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

Jesus understands your pain. He's been through the worst physically through the cross, the worst emotionally when everyone turned away from Him, and the worst (and most painful for Him) spiritually..when God had to turn away from Him as the sins of the world were placed on Him.

Shadow Of His Wings

1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. [a]
