Album Notes

After a 6 year long recording hiatus, this internationally known artist has returned to the studio to record his 14th solo album. This is probably Norm’s most eclectic album to date, showing a depth of writing that reflects his 25 year career as a concert and recording artist. Norm has literally toured all over the western world, including North America and Europe, and this project shows a very wide spectrum of influences Ranging from blues to bluegrass, from rock to celtic, this project shows a mastery of multiple genres and has something for any lover of well-crafted and articulate music.

In addition to being a concert artist, Norm has long been known also as a worship song-writer and there are some new gems here written for congregational worship, but they are intentionally placed on the CD next to songs written about everyday life. The idea is to reflect what is truly ‘true to life’. That is, that worship is meant to be woven into our everyday experience. The result is a CD that is an eloquent and thoughtful musical expression that is like having conversation with the artist.
