I feel so good when I listen to the song, "The Way It Is". It makes me feel at peace with myself and gives me hope that everything is alright. I feel like God is with me. This song takes me to a place far from here and my fears, cares, and pains simply disappear when I go to this place. There is hope in this place, there is love in this place, and there is forgetfulness for all the bad things I have experienced in this life when I go to this place. This song gives me mental and spiritual balance. What I hear in this song is the writer’s message to the listener that life is a struggle, but there is something greater, higher out there. The message says that they are always watching over us and will make things better no matter what we think, feel, or see. This song makes me feel like the whole world is at a standstill just so I can take a look at it and begin to appreciate it for what it is. The world is here temporary for me to enjoy and I should live to fullest during the short period I am here so it seems, and that I am privileged to be here.
