MARTIN CHARNIN (Lyricist of HANUKKAH GLOVES) is best known as the creator, director, and lyricist of ANNIE, the Broadway musical, along with 13 other Broadway musicals, in which he collaborated with such luminaries as Richard Rodgers, Harold Arlen, Vernon Duke, and Charles Strouse. A veteran of 40 years in the musical-theatre business, he\'s also created some of the most successful satirical-comedy-revues,including THE NO-FRILLS REVUE, UPSTAIRS AT O\'NEALS, and LOOSE LIPS. He has had songs recorded by, among others, Barbara Streisand, Johnny Mathis, Tony Bennett, and most recently Jay-Z. He has won 2 Tonys,3 Emmys,2 Grammys,5 Gold Records,3 Platinum Records,the Peabody Award for Broadcasting,and a Partridge in a Pear Tree.
RICHARD GRAY (Composer and Performer of HANUKKAH GLOVES) is a Seattle based composer-lyricist-musical director-performing artist, who in 2005 and 2006 was selected as a finalist for the Fred Ebb award in NYC. His revue FORBIDDEN XMAS has been a fixure of the Seattle holiday scene since 1991. He has written two full-length musicals that were performed at Seattle Children\'s Theatre, and theatres across the country. He has musical-directed and or conducted over 50 productions in the Seattle area. His latest musical theatre collaboration is with Martin Charnin, a revue, LOVE IS LOVE, which begins regional theatre performances in 2009.
NOSHVILLE was formed in Seattle, in the early 80\'s, by TV Star, Joan Van Ark and NY Met, Mookie Wilson, but didn\'t get a recording contract or release a single single until this year. They have written over 6 thousand songs, and on \"HANAKKAH GLOVES\" are vocally assisted by Josh Gabriel, who is 9. Their next album is entitled \"THERE ARE SO FEW JEWS IN SEATTLE\", and will be released when lead singer, Rich Grabawitz, returns from a two-month singing engagement in Tel Aviv.
