Album Notes

I was born in Sweden on April 14 1954. We lived on a big farm and later moved near Stockholm,Sweden. I started to play the piano at age 12 and moved on to play Accordion,Violin and North Indian Tablas at age 17. I was part of a Swedish folk music band "Viltstrak'. I studied Musicology at the University and worked on farms. In 1979 I left Sweden and hitchhiked to Africa and later to India where I studied Tablas and later studied meditation at Osho commune where I also worked in the gardens.
After a year me and my partner Seeta(from Brasil)moved to USA where I ran a landscaping business. We moved to Oregon in 1991. I play in a Klezmer band.
I play Bulgarian folk music and continue to play North Indian Raga music. Every
summer I teach Swedish folk music at a camp called Lark camp in Mendocino California. I spent the last two winters in India. Every year i go to Sweden for few weeks. I play at Folk life music festival in seattle and at the Scandinavian midsummer festival in Portland.
