After a two year hiatus from the stage, North County San Diego residents MarkmyWords and DJ Sinn have returned, polished and perfected to breathe new life into their local scene. With over 80 tracks written and recorded for a 13 track release, it’s only obvious the amount of determination and hunger these two artists possess for their art. Combined with the undeniable hunger, their effort is set to pay off with lead off singles like “Bench to the Bus Stop” produced by renowned producer Daneja of the Beat Bandits and “All Time Greats” Featuring Qwel of Typical Cats. “Homeland Security” also garners such features as Cali Untouchables own Julian Ramirez, J.A.Y. the Fallguy, The Blindsiders, Pen Pointz, and Pip Skid of Canada’s elite hip hop label Peanuts and Corn. The upcoming release of “Homeland Security” marks the culmination of 25 years combined work the duo has put into the culture developing as artists as well as music business entrepreneurs.
