She has been called an art-ilectual. This songwriter understands what it means to pay her dues in this industry. Her sense of humor about her experiences will have you laughing out loud as her catchy hooks remind you to just "take it to the dance floor". Singer/songwriter and Performer "Nova" began working professionally at the age of 14, singing jingles.  Since that time she has worked with an array of established producers, affording her the opportunity for television and film placement, including networks such as CBS, MTV, and prominent shows such as Tyra, TMZ and Ellen. Teaming up with Josquin Des Pres at Trackstar broadened her experience as an artist and writer. She was able to co-author "Radio Waves", record countless demos, and write for European and American clients.  With the release of her 2008 album titled Nova "On The Couch", produced by Brandon Steppe of Sound Collage Music, Nova has received a Christian Music Award in August of 2009, as well as recognition from news, radio and magazines articles featuring her as the next “Up And Coming” independent artist. Recently Nova performed at SD IndieFest, where she was selected out of 60 artist to be a spokesperson for the event, featured on Fox 5 Morning show and Good Morning San Diego. As well Nova was invited to perform “Take me out to the Ball Park” live on KUSI to kick off the Padres season opener. Nova has just completed a collaborative full length Christmas album that will be nationally distributed and is currently spending the remainder of 2010, releasing her 5 song EP “Romancing Me”.

The reason why I keep on writing is to not only keep my own personal journey focussed on hope but to help people find theirs. I want people to feel something different when they listen to my music.
