Noyola hails from Lake Charles, located near the coast in southwest Louisiana. The five members, veterans to the regional rock scene, joined up to form Noyola in 2009 after they spent the previous years in separate projects. The band's signature sound is rooted in the alternative rock of the 1990's with influences from 1970's hard rock and modern rock.
