Album Notes

Drawn largely from a concert taped in 1973 at the newly completed Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia, this quality collection of primarily original material captures Noel Paul Stookey in perhaps his most intimate and spontaneous concert recording. His stories and sometimes hilarious introductions to songs are woven through a typically wide range of musical pieces; from the boisterous classic sing-a-long BUILDING BLOCK to his subtle musical investigation of MIRACLES.

I LOVE THIS CD!!!!!

I have very fond memories of this album from when I was younger, and now that I'm away at college, my family bought me my own copy to take with me. Not only was this CD great when I was a kid, it's STILL JUST AS FANTASTIC as the first time I heard it! I had one of my college friends listen to it, and he loved it so much, I just bought him a copy too. This CD keeps me laughing again and again with jokes that never get old. Noel Paul Stookey's gentle humor and sincere faith shine through this album; whenever I'm upset, I can listen to this CD and feel better immediately. I'm not a fan of folk in general, but I make a huge exception for this CD. On a scale of 5 stars, I'd give it 6!
