The Few The Proud, the Brutal
author: Cb - Breakout Mag
Old school thrash punk rock with some tuff break downs.
These sound alot like BioHazard, Wrong Side of the
Tracks era. The singer sounds alot like Evan fron
Biohazrd at times. There's some ok shit on here, and
they mix it up alot, which is cool. The thrash parts are
cool. Unite the Kids is a cool song on this one, as well
as Now is the Time. There are 14 songs on this bad
boy, and this CD is produced by the Speak English of Die legend BILLY MILLANO.
(S.O.D., MO.D. fame.) If you want more info on these guys, check out their website at:

"You breed the killer/you plant the seed/Encode the anger/Idiot breed", one of the chants that this street-smart hardcore outfit angrily proclaims. With the force of a
baseball bat to your unsuspecting melon NEW SOCIETY OF ANARCHISTS are one of those hard as nails bands that pull from their heroes in the New York
Hardcore scene and show you what they can do with it. NSA's newest CD "THE FEW, THE PROUD, THE BRUTAL" takes you for a ride through the inner city
angst-ridden minds of these Milwaukee gents to let you know what pisses them off. With lyrics concerning inter scene fighting, unity, betrayal, neglect, the pain of
everyday life on down the line, there's nothing here you haven't heard before. Along the same lines as the aforementioned NYHC scene these four tattooed brutes
pull the sound from "the big apple" and relate it to their lives in "the big beer can" (or whatever Milwaukee's claim to fame is, besides Laverne and Shirley and the
Metalfest) and rattle off 14 tracks of purely anger driven beatdown core. Think Agnostic Front and Madball. Think tattoos and circle pits. Think bloody knuckles
and stage pile-ons. Fans of Sick Of It All, Pro-Pain and the like, this is for you. Yeah, this is by the book hardcore, but it's not bad. The production on every one of
these adrenaline charged pit anthems is killer, produced by none other than your worst nightmare Billy Milano (S.O.D., M.O.D., etc.) who throws in a guest spot on
the lyrics beginning this review. So this isn't something new to write home to mom about, but within its quick life (clocking in just under twenty seven minutes start
to finish) this one will have you windmilling in your bedroom and stagediving off the kitchen sink in no time.
