NSR (a.k.a nosuchrules )is: High Energy Rock with powerful female lead vocals.
The music and lyrics are for anyone who has ever felt like an outcast.
NSR's message is that: they have made it through the tough times and their fans can too.
NSR's songs are about not being the most popular kids in school, but are about the people in the background who will rise to the top in the end -to quote one of our songs "Stick it out".
To quote a recent purchaser of the CD "This CD grabbed me and held on -rarely do you hear, on one CD, so many potential radio friendly tunes. The songs also have such a variety of feels, from the reggae-ish "Dominican Republic" to the hard rock of "Member of your Club" and "Stick it Out" -AWESOME!!
NSR is planning a tour of China in 2009.
Watch for the tour dates on their myspace at "www.myspace.com/nosuchrules"
Bridgette Yarwood: Vocals, Keyboards
Richard Yarwood: Guitar
Colin Hart: Bass
Brendon Yarwood: Drums
Album was recorded at Greenhouse Studios, where some of the legends have recorded -Bryan Adams, Nickleback, Aerosmith, Heart etc...

Canada's Next Big Thing!

I caught this band off the cuff in Vancouver. Easily the best live band I've seen in years. Barter your family's silver to see them. You won't regret it. The CD isn't produced well, but when (not if) they get famous, that will change. See them now while it's still not so expensive.

This CD stunned me. I bought it after hearing one song.

Rare it is to find this much great music on one CD. From the beginning to the very end, this CD rocks far beyond the years of the players. If you are familiar with most any 60s-90s rock music, you will feel the influnce somewhere here in this dandy work. First, the vocal work on this platter is absolutely top shelf material. I have scrutinized it front to back and this girl has got IT. Too, I have often wondered (sadly)what happend to great guitar work in modern rock. Well this guy has found it and given it a home. His work is...well it just makes me feel good to hear it! The CD is tight and professional and should find it way to mainstream record shelves, but that is just my opinion.
