Violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg is celebrated worldwide as one of the most original and fearless artists on the concert stage today. Renowned for her electrifying performances, passionate interpretations and musica depth, she is sought after by today's greatest conductors and orchestras, as well as by fellow artists for collaborations in both classical and other genres. Acclaimed by the press and the performance and recording arenas, she is an artist whose talent "will make you hang breathlessly on every note." Considered a groundbreaker in the recording field, Ms. Salerno-Sonnenberg's professional career began in 1981 when she won the Walter W. Naumburg International Violin Competition. In 1999 she was honored with the prestigious Avery Fisher Prize, awarded to instrumentatlists who have demonstrated "outstanding achievement and excellence in music."



Founded in 2005 by renowned violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, NSS MUSIC aims to be a haven for performing artists and, with a special emphasis on live performances, to release recordings of new and established works by musicians across the musical genres.

    Nadja captured every aspect of how she felt about these songs, and easily conveyed that to me as i listened. It took me back to my own childhood, remembering how much fun we are supposed to have during Christmas, and how we recognize the celebration of this Birthday.     Each year I pull out fewer and fewer of my holiday lp's and CD's, too many of them seeming stale and overly familiar/ exposed. That changes with the arrival of Nadia's CD. What a refreshing, engaging and stylistically diverse take on so many otherwise too-familiar songs. There is nothing else out there quite like it that I have heard...and thus I once again will enhance my holidays with music of the season.
