Album Notes

The press has herald Nuada as "The Sci-Fi / Fantasy Music Guru". One critic said, "If Vangelis, Brian Eno and Delirium put a band together, you would get Nuada!".

Nuada is very imaginative original electronic music with extra surprises. A combination of synthesizers, samplers and Theremin, often blended with voices, choirs, hand drums, didgeridoos and additional percussive instruments. Thick layers of soundscapes and erythematic mélanges that build into ambient textures and haunting melodies to driving - "hold on to your seat" - voyages into the unknown. Often described as Art Music and Space Music, reviewers say it is "spiritual" and "having a dense earthy feel". To best understand what the music of Nuada is about... listen to it both soft and loud.

Nuada was born in Hammond, Indiana. He learned to play a Hammond Organ from his Grandmother who grew tired of his persistent pestering to play the British song "With Her Head Tucked Underneath Her Arm" which he discovered in a book of short spooky stories he purchased from his elementary school book club.
He was first introduced to electronic music while in Jr. High School by his music teacher back when that form of music was considered 'experimental'. Being inspired by an experimental piece entitled "Program Me" he was immediately turned on and plugged in. He saved for his first synthesizer (a Moog) for three years before acquiring it.

In the 70's Nuada purchased every electronic album he could find. Often finding the music meditative or springboards for other creative work. He realized its potential as a affecting medium. A professional magician since age 10, he later began to use pieces that he himself composed in his act. The audiences persisted that he release his material but he could never find time to do it.

Nuada often performed in night clubs under-age (16), started his successful Trade-Show company Mystique Productions which produced special effects and presentations for everyone from Fortune 500 companies to TSR (the original Dungeons and Dragons people), GDW and special effects for theatres and professional musicians around the country.

Between his own show and directing others he has been a professional actor, production manager, director, set and lighting designer, road director for many national touring shows including those in Las Vegas and Branson. For over eight years he was Production Manger and Road Director for Aiken Productions. Nuada served as resident creative director, performer, designer at Anim-Art, one of Chicago's largest children's theatres. Also Creative consultant and Creative Director for Creative Character Costume and Design where he helped design and direct shows for amusement parks and corporate entertainment.
He also worked on major motion pictures for companies like Universal, Columbia, Miramax on such films as A League of Their Own, Hoffa and Back Draft.
The list of his theatrical expertise exceeds the scope of this document.

Nuada's music career has been no exception. Having given up major touring due to health reasons and prompted by his loved ones, friends and obscure fans, Nuada finally decided it was time to concentrate on his music. With the international world-wide success of his release "Mage Sun", Nuada has toured over two dozen cities in 2002. Nuada's newest releases of 2003 are the ambient/psychadelic "Other Realms" and the sonic tapestry requested by fans for meditation and spiritual adventures - "Esabat: the Ambiance of Sacred Space".

His music has been used as original music for Theodora - An Unauthorized Biography and several other original theatrical productions and has been contracted to score several productions the near future.
