Album Notes

Nuwanda is a solo project made by me, Jonathan Claesson.

Most of my music is recorded my bedroom in Gothenburg, Sweden during the summer of 2001.

Before Nuwanda I used to sing in The Metamorphs, which is a heavier, harder rock band.

After some years I felt that I wanted to express myself in other ways with my music.

The dynamics, the mood of the music and the lyrics became more important for me.

And Nuwanda was born.

My sound is full of surprises.

By mixing a 12-str acoustic guitar, an electric guitar with a heavy distortion and effects, and weird keyboards I got exactly that mysterious, dreamlike feeling in the music I searched for.
