Amazing stories that will teach you important lessons about life.

I really learned to appreciate dogs and how they touch different peoples' lives and that every dog has a purpose. I found the real life incidents of the dogs very humerous. I really felt I got to know the souls of the dogs in Nora's writings. This book was very touching and funny, I couldn't stop listening.

Smiles, Laughter, Tears - Couldn't put it down
author: Cari Shields
DEAR KILROY made me smile and laugh and cry. Nora Vitz Harrison manages to explain the unexplainable bond between dogs and their human partners. Each story follows the journey of a special dog. I particularly loved the story about how a little shelter dog helped her father reengage life after he became a widower. The book rekindled memories I have of my own guide dog, Denver. Nora's voice is easy to listen to and I felt I got to know her. The music provides perfect transitions and emphasis. I was so hooked that I listened to the whole book in one night.

The authors voice inflections+the light, lyrical music=winning combination.
author: Jane Smoak, Denver Eye Paws
I truely enjoyed listening to the authors voice inflections as Nora Vitz Harrison reads the puppy raising stories and the letters between Kilroy and Riley in Dear Kilroy. The light and lyrical piano music provided by Rebecca Kragnes adds a visual touch, like the lightfooted walking gait of a guide dog pup, it adds depth to the transitions as the stories move along. I am a fellow puppy raiser/leader and have to say that Nora really does understand the ups and downs as well as the essence of puppy raising. Her understanding of the serious shelter issues touched me deeply and I'm glad that Grace could inspire improved outcomes for soo many.
