Have you ever met someone who made you feel as though you've been close to them for years? Someone who knew when to push your buttons and make you feel like a raving lunatic one minute and squirming jelly the next? Nymph is like that.

Their grating and thumping beats taste crystallized, yet with bittersweet soul melodies. With an electronic palette of different genres ranging from jazz to jungle they produce color after color of pop art. NYMPH performs at many NYC venues and is currently looking to tour nationally.

Vocalist/songwriter SLM (pron. slim) has been writing since the age of 13. She makes a splash in the NYC electronic scene with her bark AND her bite. Some of her varied influences include hip-hop, rock, house and classical music. She has been likened to a soulful Bjork & Gwen Stefani w/ the pop sense of Madonna. Her projects include penning/recording the theme song for the VH-1 Fashion Awards.

Keyboardist/songwriter Mike Degen co-wrote/produced tracks for a Warner Bros. act and co-remixed a song for BMG, both in Europe. He runs Stimulant Sound Recording where he creates music for many NYC artists. Live, he's on keys and will freak a sample on the decks.

Evil Axe Weilder/percussionist Shahn Daven completes the collective. Turning out nail biting punk riffs & spreading the love through a righteous disco patter, he takes the live show to all of those "next levels" that everyone always talks about.

So... much like your ex, you'll hate them for leaving and you'll wish they come back again & again.
